The profession of Civil Engineering is concerned with designing and building large constructions projects including building, roads railways, dams, ports and bridges. As we have moved into the twenty first century, Civil Engineers are increasingly being required to address environmental issues such as pollution control, rising sea levels and energy.
These demands and future development in the field require broad and flexible technical education. The degree programs at PGS Engineering College have been structured to provide a fundamental understanding of Civil Engineering principles and also enable the students to tackle current and future challenges in the discipline.
PGS Engineering College has a Civil Engineering department with qualified staff and all necessary facilities in the form of well equipped laboratories, computers Labs workshop etc. The department adopt teaching methods most appropriate for the courses being followed.
